Free non-breeding stock lamprologus (culls)
« on: February 15, 2019, 04:38:03 PM »
I have a few random tanganikan culls with deformities that should not be used for breeding.  If anyone would like them they are free to a good home, again, on the condition that you do not breed these fish.  These fish have minor to moderate deformities (deformed gill plate, crooked spine, swim bladder, short body, ect),  but are otherwise healthy. I had been keeping them in a community tank but now I need the room for a breeding project. I can bring them to the MCAS auction tomorrow.

3 White calvus approx 2"
1 multifasciatus 1"
1 leleupi 2"
1 daffodil 1.5"
1 Ornatipinnis 2"
1 albino afra cobue male 2" (malawi mbuna)

Perfect!  It's like a starter kit for a special needs Tang tank!

Do you happen to have a sunken short bus decor as well? If not,  a pirate ship will do.

What is wrong with them? A friend might take the lelupi and I might take the afra cobue if they aren’t infected with something

Both the leleupi and afra cobue are short body (missing vertebrae).  All defects are genetic/congenital and not due to illness or disease.  The tangs are spoken for, but the cobue is still available.

Ah sorry I should have assumed genetic, fair enough on the tangs. Think I will hold off on the alcove, sounds like he might get picked on and don’t want him to struggle cause my Mbuna are dicks. Thanks for the fast response
