Air pump
« on: March 27, 2016, 07:59:54 AM »
Well I am in the market for a new air pump. It will be running 2 90's, 2 75's, 4 10's, and maybe more.  They one I have now is having a hard time getting enough air to the 90's.  So it needs to be able to handle deep tanks.  Any suggestions would be great.

I have always had good luck so far with alita linear pumps froms Ken's fish.  I had one as small as a Al-15a running 4 75's and air stones in 4 125's.  I would go a size or two bigger though.  You can always use an extra outlet to bleed off excess air.

I have 2 Alita 60s.....awesome  pumps. Make sure you put it in a closed loop and bleed excess air.

I have a coralife Luft Pump LP-38 that I'd be willing to sell. I was running twice as many tanks you are needing. It's only like 30watts too. I have extra flappers as well.
