totally random - ISO 100mg med scoops

Hi all,

I am looking for the scoops that come with meds like metronidazole. These scoops are meant to retrieve about 100mg of medicine. It turns out they work perfect for ascorbic acid, which is the same mass as metro, and I need about 100mg of a acid for my lab samples. I only have 1 but would like to take more with me out to sea (you can't use an analytical balance on a ship so I can't weigh it, hence the scoop). I do not need the medicine.

If nobody can help you on here....try calling LFS, see if they have any used ones. If not try National Fish Pharmaceuticals 520-298-7814...they probably sell you some or (no joking) call any local grow shop or a shop that  sells smoking supplies....they probably sell them....I'm not sure what they call them (little spoons, used for other reasons)....they look the same size.

Is this what you're talking about?  The manufacturer is National Fish Pharmaceuticals, and it lists the size as 1/8 tsp.

Thank you Blair, is that what they're called (coke spoon) the fancy ones (I take it not for the coke you drink) Not the ones I was talking about, the ones that they use for measuring chemicals for hydro growing. I reread my reply and I can see what you were thinking. I was trying to give any idea that would help...there are plenty of uses for everything. Have you been in a tobacco shop lately? They have everything in there...I looked up the phase  "head shop"....last used in late 1980's. I guess that's what they used to be called but didn't sell tobacco..
