Distichodus Lusosso & Bowfin(Amia Calva)

Ive got 2 fish that doesnt fit my setup. 1 Distichodus Lusosso and 1 Bowfin(Amia Calva). Bought them hoping to add to my 180 but they dont seem to fit with my other fish. 40 for each or 60 for both fish. Only trades would be for a Polypterus(Except for a normal senegulus). You sure the bowfin is legal to sell &/or own?

To be honest im not sure but I bought him at fantastic fins last sunday. So if fantastic fins sold it I would assume they are legal. Hes about 4 inches. The Distichodus is about the same/slightly bigger. ALSO on a side note, These 2 fish dont fit well together. When i bought the bow fin and put him in my group out tank, the  Distichodus was picking on him, so i moved him to my sump by himself right now.

It's a native species so I would assume so if you followed the guidelines of keeping native species
