Out of Town
« on: March 21, 2012, 10:24:22 AM »
So im wondering what you guys do for your fish if you go out of town for a couple day. Do you have automatic feeders? Or have someone come over to feed the fish? Or if it is only really one day they wouldn't be fed, just not worry about them at all. Were leaving Friday, coming back home sunday. Thanks for the info in advance.  :)
SKI,
No longer fishroom, I have a FISH BASEMENT!!!

Don't worry about feeding them.  Not worth the hassle.  If you are gone for more than a couple days than yes you would need someone to check on them and feed them.

Yes, but what he's not mentioning is that he came home to all the big fish where a little fatter and all the small fish disappeared.   :P

IMO letting fish fast every so often is good for them! I wouldn't be worried about a weekend trip.

If you were to leave for a week or more, I'd suggest that you have someone feed them every 3 days or so.
