Ideas for the new 75g?
« on: January 07, 2015, 11:53:47 PM »
Now that the 265g is up I've been moving more and more of my haps and peacocks into it, so I'm actually thinking now about eventually just moving the rest of them into it at some point. Then moving my mbuna into the old peacock tank. Which will leave me with this 75 I've been working on as an empty/open tank when I bring it upstairs http://michigancichlid.com/simplemachinesforum/index.php?topic=6028.0

So today I've been kicking around the idea of what I would stock it with. One thing I'm considering is a damonsoni  & yellow lab colony. Not 100% sold on that yet but thinking about it perhaps. Figured I'd see if anyone else has any cool ideas of what would be nice for the 75g stock?

Yeah I have seen a few tanks like that Jenna and I always thought the half blue half yellow colony made for a really attractive setup. Only thing that worries me about that though is I have never owned any damonsoni but have heard so many horror stories about how aggressive they can be  :-\ Still giving that some serious thought though for sure.

Steve, I know you like plecos, so you might want to consider a South American set-up that would have some of your favorite plecos and you could added some Severums, Geos, etc.
