Wtb proven pair South american

I recently lost my favorite fish and the female to my first and largest breeding Severums  Although I'm bummed it has opened up a hair of room in my greatly downsized collection.

I'm not sure exactly what I'm looking for but im only interested in proven pairs.  I will pay for high quality breeders.  Really only interested in Souths at this point.  Cichlids.

Can meet at auction or reasonable distance from Plymouth.

I have a proven pair of Cichlasoma amazonarum for sale for $30.  While the fish are currently in Cincinnati I can have them delivered to the Pet Suppliers in Highland, MI for pickup on Monday the 27th.  They have bred and successfully raised several batches of fry in my hard water (300 ppm), so they are not very fussy about water conditions.  These are a great pair and never ate their eggs or the fry which they happily raised.   

I can email you a picture of the two fish if you are interested.

Let me know before Friday, October 24th if you want them as they are going in our auction (GCAS) the next day if they don't sell.

Hmm wasn't expecting that and at a good price as well, Ive done acaras a few times now never blacks.   I think I may be looking for something a little different I don't think a fish that size would breed for me with my current set up and only having a single empty tank I don't think I want to dedicate it to them at this point.  Ill think about it though.

I am keeping them in a 40 breeder (3ft tank).  I think anything smaller would be a problem as they are 3 to 4 inches in diameter.  I have them in with several barbs and some syno's and other than keeping those fish away from their babies, they did not bother the other fish.
