For Sale is a 180 Gallon Glass Aquarium (72”x24”x24”) and Metal Angle Iron Stand $375 obo. Unfortunately I do not know the full history of this tank. There is a manufacture tag that says Dec 7, 2004 on bottom brace, but not sure who made the tank, or if any of the panels are tempered or not.
I bought this tank I am selling and wooden stand from a forum a few month back and about a week after picking it up, I found a better tank here (the one GrizzlysDad was selling). So I decided to keep the tank with the over flows, and wooden stand…and sell over this plan glass tank and metal stand. I have it listed on Craigslist for $400 and know that is a “shoot for the moon” type price…I think $325 (obo) is a more reasonable offer. Might even consider trades (see bottom).
Since buying the tank I have cleaned up a bunch of algae, and hard water deposits. There are a few minor scratches, but hard to spot when the tank is full. Nothing else wrong with this tank, and as you can see it currently is in my garage and holding water. Welcome to come by and see it in person with water if you want. I will drain it and dry the tank the day before it will be picked up. I also have 3 folding glass tops for the tank (not pictured). Glass on them is near prefect, but all the hinges will need to be replaced. I also have under gravel filters for this tank I will include.
I am located in Waterford. Kind of behind the Kmart located on Dixie Highway. Moving the tank is possible with 2 people, but 3 or 4 would be better. I will help to load, and know tank and stand easily fit between wheel wells on full-size pickup. Can work out the details at future date.
No other equipment available for the sale at this time. Just the 180 Gallon Tank, Angle Iron Stand, Glass Tops, and Under Gravel Filters. The 75 Gallon tank under the stand is not for sale as it will most likely become the sump for the other tank.
