Compatability ?
« on: April 12, 2014, 05:40:40 PM »
I have a 90 gallon with Peacocks and Haps all male and would like to know if I can keep a couple Victorian Flameback Haps in the tank?
I don't try anything, I just do it.

Wouldn't due to the fact vics can be more aggressive...

I think you'd be alright, provide the vics aren't larger than the others. In a tank 1/2 the size I'd be more concerned, but 90 gallons gives the fish room to get away from one another. Aquascaping in a way that breaks up the tank into different territories would help too.

I think I will try them and see because they are a sweet looking fish. The other fish in the tank are quite larger than they will be and I do have a lot of rock stacked in the tank. I can always take them out if they are a problem and get another tank to house some Victorians. Thanks for the input

I seem to be the only one... but, I have not had any luck with Vics in my Peacock tank.  Too aggressive.  They look great, but everything else looks horrible.

I have stopped trying.
