New Phenochilus
« on: February 22, 2014, 05:36:11 PM »
I absolutely LOVE Phenochilus haps. I think they are one of the best looking fish out there. When I was at the LFS today I saw this guy and knew instantly he was making the trip back home with me. He's about 6" and just great looking and active. I think as he grows he's gonna be a real stunner.

Yep, blew my mind when I walked in and saw it. Did not expect to see a Pheno at the Aquarium Shop.

IIRC - they get a lot of trade-ins, you were lucky to be in the right spot at the right time !

I just picked up a very nice Dragon blood "Fire fish" peacock at Kee's last week that someone traded in. You can see him in the 180 tank video I posted today.

Yeah they get a lot of trade ins, that's actually how I got the last three fish I bought from them. My 10" Venustus, 6" OB and now this guy were all ones people have had to trade in. I usually try to stop in at least twice a week just to see what they have got in on trades.
