Amazonas Central America issue
« on: January 27, 2014, 05:15:23 PM »
Those who are into Central American fish may want to check out the latest (Mar/Apr) Amazonas magazine.  Good stuff :)

Sorry, I'm old school and read my magazines the old fashioned way - hard copy :)  Don't have anything to email you.

FWIW Amazonas have a lot of their back issues for $5.  This is the current issue so it's not available yet.  Maybe we could consider buying some of the back issues for an "MCA library".  But then we'd have to have a system for replacing the issues if someone kept them for months or dropped them in the fish tank/toilet.  :)

$5 for an old magazine in this day and age?

No thanks.

I wouldn't buy every issue for that, but an issue I really wanted, I'd seriously consider.  Unless I'm confused on how that compares to list price.  And I didn't check into their online subscription options e.g. if that gives you access to back issues or not.

I'm mostly with you but I haven't been able to go completely paperless.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIeZg0-Tc9M  ;)

I have two big bookshelves and probably a half dozen smaller ones.  So another magazine or two isn't a huge change.  But, I do try to get rid of all the books or magazines I'm done with.  Stuff adds up quickly.
