Since I trade my fish like they're baseball cards.  It's hard for me to know.

That's what caused me to be surprised when I read that you have an 8 yr old Gourami.  ;)  Must be he's still with you due to the circumstances under which you obtained him. Nice.

 Yes that is why it's still here.
Although I do trade my fish away - I'm not as bad as some other people.
 I usually spawn them a few times, then pass them along for someone else to spawn .

Synodontis Angelicus for about 6 years now. Actually before him i had another one Angelicus that I had for 5 years...but he was pretty old when i bought him.
Nothing but a few empty tanks.

I just lost one of my first fish I ever bought which was a green severum. She was almost 15 years old and has survived three moves, a two day power outage and numerous leaps out of the tank.
