belle isle aquarium trip
« on: August 26, 2013, 07:06:54 PM »
i get my boys this holiday weekend and i wanted to take them to the belle isle aquarium. i found out its only open to the public on saturday from 10-3 but thats all i really know about it. my boys are 2 and they like watching my tanks and helping feed the fish so i thought this might be a good idea for them. i just dont know what to expect when i go down there or if its worth the trip.     does anyone have any insight/ thoughts/ concerns about it? also is it in an area where i should be carrying?
I have about 18,000 rounds of .223 I'm  looking to get rid of, 100 rd bags. 1-4 bags $40 ea, 5-9 bags $38 ea, 10 or more bags $35 ea. I can't put this in the for sale section, its not fish related. No shipping.

I'm an advocate for carrying anywhere you can in Detroit lately.  I don't know much about their hours and such, but the aquarium isn't at 100%  Still, a decent trip if you don't have a lot going on.

I agree with both the above.

It's a shame the aquarium is the only thing left to look at on the island.

^ It's a little easier to get away from trouble on a sport bike!

One of my client contracts is for posting foreclosure notices in metro Detroit.  As you can imagine, I'm in Detroit proper pretty often.  I can tell you with firsthand knowledge that sections of Detroit resemble third world countries.  I've also been to third world countries, so I have a basis for comparison  ;)

I carry partly because of what I do, but also because it's a handy tool to have if an opportunistic criminal looks at you and thinks you're his next victim.

It is a good idea to carry every where there might be criminals.
