I grow romaine lettuce in the garden each year for my tropheus. It takes them a while to figure it out, but once they do, they really do enjoy it and it gives them something to do instead of just hassle each other.

Cool info ken(and guys) I've always wondered about feeding my BNP stuff like this, thanks.

My bristle nose will attach to whatever is put in the tank and not leave until it is either gone, or taken out of the tank.

I've used frozen peas and popped them in a for a quick blend in the blender,  then I just droped the little chunks into the aquarium. Fish loved it... I read somewhere that peas are very good for the digestive system...

Tried Zucchini but ended up with a mess, too soft.  Tried cucumber, it was much better and the fish devoured it..

Also tried romaine lettace but the fish didn't know what to make of it.

Opps I said that backwards:  Cucumber is soft but Zucchini was much better.. my bad !  ;D

For bristlenose, I was doing cucumber, but learned that it doesn't have as much nutritional value.  Switched to zucchini on a fork.  No boil.
