I could use some help on figuring out what size and how many tanks I will need to start breeding the following fish.-Archocentrus myrnae breeding pair --- 50 breeder -Cichlasoma Salvini breeding pair 40 breeder-Cleithracara Maronii breeding pair --- I don't know -Aequidens Patricki 4-5 unsexed 4inch 55 gal -Geophagus Surinamensis 1-2 unsexed 4 inch. 75 gal-Geophagus Steindachneri 9-10 with at least 2-3 male rest female about 2-4 inches 55 gal -Hypsophyrus Nicaraguensis may have breeding pair about 3-4 inches may be more - 55 gal -Veija Synspila 6-7 unsexed 3-4 inch 90 gallon -Honduran Red Points 3 males 3-4 females know of at least 2 pair 30 long -Acarichthys heckelii 6-7 unsexed 3-4 inch 50 breeder -Thorichthys mixteco gold 6-7 2 inch think there is 2-3 male 3-4 female - 40 breeder-Heros sp. Rotkeil 9-10 unsexed 3-4 inch - 75 galSo that is the list of fish I have so far and have probably forgot a few. Can someone give me some ideas. Thanks....
I agree with ACK if she means pairs you may be able to get away with slightly smaller if you have pairs. I have breeding pairs of severums in a 55s and 40 breeders seem to do fine. 1 pair though.
