Happy Fathers Day!
« on: June 16, 2013, 12:56:30 AM »

This picture of Dad & I was taken about 23 years ago on the Au Sable river in Grayling, Mi. It was the first time my dad decided he would try fly fishing with me. He was a spin fisherman and never fly fished before that or after that and was not very good at casting, but he tried and that's all that mattered. We lost dad a few years later to prostate cancer. That day fly fishing with Dad is still one of the best days of my life and one of my best memories. Miss you Dad, Happy Fathers Day.

And just wanted to wish all you other Dad's on here a very Happy Fathers Day today. Hope you guys all have a good day relaxing with the family or however you decide to spend your Fathers Day!
Better to have a short life full of what you like doing, than a long life spent in a miserable way.

Touching story Steve.

I'm getting a tattoo finished later that is a tribute to my dad & his dad, which those of you who know me know my grandfather & I were VERY close before we lost him last year.   (It would have been finished now,  but my friend's gun jammed up & there aren't places open at this hour for the new part it needs.)

Agreed touching story.

Happy Fathers day to all the men who are fathers,Like My dad said you can produce a kid and be a dad, or you can have a kid and be a Father.

To all the real fathers enjoy your day,and be proud that youcan call yourself a father and not just a dad  ;D

A big +1 on that. My boys just turned 2 and becoming a father is one of the best things and  most stressful things I have ever done. Happy fathers day to all the men who step up to the plate and are a part of their children's lives. Its not as common as it used to be.
I have about 18,000 rounds of .223 I'm  looking to get rid of, 100 rd bags. 1-4 bags $40 ea, 5-9 bags $38 ea, 10 or more bags $35 ea. I can't put this in the for sale section, its not fish related. No shipping.
