are OB peacocks sterile?

so from my understanding an OB peacock is a hybrid of a fullerboerni and some sort of peacock? or some variation? so are the offspring sterile like a mule or can the OB's be bred together? are the females still a dull brown? just curious about these guys.

I've never heard of them being sterile.

Blair answered the third question as a yes/no...when the question asked if they were sterile or can bred together.

What mix makes an OB peacock? After you do get a few OB's do their offspring all turn out OB or is there some solids with a few OB's? The only info I've found online are for sale and not really the information I was looking for.

I told they are a mix of an OB Mbuna and a Peacock of some kind.  The Mbuna portion is where the higher than typical Peacock aggression comes from.

That's not wrong - they are indeed hybrids.

What makes the OB peacock is the OB gene .... which isn't naturally occurring in peacocks. They are more "peacock-shaped" than "mbuna-shaped" because the initial hybrids were bred back to peacocks to help refine the shape.

There are so many beautiful peacocks available naturally in the wild, I don't understand why everyone goes nuts over the man-made ones.
