Yeah your right I defiantly underestimated the amount of work clicking an extra time would cause my fault I need to consider such things next time. I mean were talking seconds imagine the other things we could be doing with that precious time!  I sincerely apologize.

This was of course a joke.  If you read the my above post I explain it's not for over crowding of the FS or anything to do with things falling off the first page.

I know were not doing this but this is what I was getting at.

The fish are listed individually with pictures and a short description.  It would be a lot of work but I just really like going through a site like that instead of lists of fish and tanks and supplies.  That is a much larger club what works for them might not work for us. Oh well just an idea can lock now.

I don't think that is necessary right now. Maybe in the future.

I am sure most would disagree with me, but I think the 'For Sale' should not allow replies.  If you interested PM the seller. Still haven't figured out the need to reply with 'PM Sent' as a reply.  If some sends me a PM, i receive an email or I see it first thing when I visit MCA. My two cents.

that must be in case the OP is subscribed to the thread, but doesn't get PM notification.

This has happened to me on several occasions, either got the PM much later or didn't get notified.  Not a big deal nor a major complaint, just an observation.  Pros/cons to the various approaches though.

I know some people (including me in the past) have had trouble getting emails about PMs.

Dan, what your suggesting is not just creating additional sections on the forum but creating an interactive website that allows members to post.  I personally like the simplistic nature of forum with only one section.  But what you suggest does have some HUGE merits.  The biggest benefit is Google loves those types of sites.  The club would benefit with countless additional traffic when someone searches "labidochromis caeruleus for sale" and MCA comes up as a first page search result because someone has it posted in our for sale section.  I for one will support the idea completely.  I will be your advocate with the Board of Directors.  This can't and won't fall back onto any of the existing core volunteers as we are all maxed out so what do you need from the MCA to get this implemented?
I used to be a people person... but people ruined that for me.

Unfortunately I don't poses the skills or ability to implement some thing of that nature.  My original suggestion would just to add categories in the for sale. Ie. Dry goods, new worlds, old worlds, and other.  Posting the web site was just saying that's where I got the idea and really enjoyed going through that site.  As I know the amount of work some thing like that would take and cost.

I also understand that the board members and volunteers are maxed out and couldn't possibly do more.   My original suggestion was for something simple that web admin could implement.  But other members did not like the idea.

So case in point I didn't mean it like "hey why can't we have this". More of this is awesome lol.
