There goes the neighborhood
« on: March 05, 2013, 09:53:16 PM »
Figured I'd intro myself before selling you my junk.  I kid, I kid!  Seriously though, great site.  I'm a newb on here, and I consider myself a newb in Africans.  I set up an old 37 gallon this summer to house a few Gar Pike Fry we caught in a local lake.  They got big and released.  My kids cried for some new fish and after buying a few softies, we quickly turned to the hearty, colorful Africans.  To make a long story short, the 37 started leaking, bought a 29 for a temp, quick fix.  Went out and bought a 75 and realized I NEED MORE FISH!   Then I realized that the 48x18 footprint was for amateurs (joking again), so I bought a 180 acrylic and just loaded the fish in there tonight.  NOW I NEED MORE FISH!!!!

Anyhow, I'm glad there are others out there with the same problem.  I feel sane again.    :o

Welcome to the forum, I am sure the 180 will be a nice starter tank for you. If you are anything like the rest of us. Your tanks will breed faster than your fish will.
