I'm back!....but I never really left
« on: April 11, 2013, 12:57:53 AM »
So as some of you may know I was going to moving to Arkansas and because of this I sold off all of my fish and some tanks. To make a long story short, we are now not moving. Having to sell off everything of importance that you care about in your lone hobby can really be frustrating when it ends up being for nothing. Such is life right? Maybe Ill blow all that money I made off selling everything on some a bunch of new stuff.
Nothing but a few empty tanks.

Oh no!!! And I was excited that we would be getting our first Arkansas resident for the MCA.

Well, it had to be in the master plan that the move was cancelled.
Are you staying in the house you've been in or do you have to move somewhere else local?
Time to get a few tanks back going in time for the MCA auction on May 4th!!!
Maybe you will win the FX-6 in the raffle  :)

Well glad your sticking around.  Sounds like you'll be a big buyer at the May 4th auction.   ;)

Still glad to have you around Nick.

Maybe now you can go with some Madagascars.  ;)

Good news for us that you're not leaving.  I guess the upside for you is that you get to start over again which is what you were expecting to do down in Arkansas anyway.  But, here you've got an established cadre of hobby friends ready to help you rev up the hobby for and with you.  We'll catch up on what happened perhaps on the drive down to the auction on May 4th?  Welcome back.

Thanks everyone. Ill for sure be going to the auction on May 4th. Ill also be at the fish room tour. Not sure how much I will be buying right away though. Our little trip down south cost a significant amount with no return on the investment. For right now I am setting up a planted nano tank and plan on getting something interesting at the Livebearer Convention for it. I still have a 125, 55, and 30 in the basement which I could set up at any point but I just dont think ill have the cash to fill them in the way I might want. None the less I like going to the auctions and stuff even if it just to look. Maybe ill sell off a bunch of my smaller tanks to make money to fill one of those tanks.
