I was warned about compressiceps and Peacocks but I bought one anyway because they are so cool looking. The thought was it was small enough, it may be compatible with the Peacocks if it grew up with Peacocks. That thought is now a big bunch of bunk ! Within the last week or so it turned into the dominant fish in the tank chasing everything in sight. The kicker was when I brought home a Dragon Blood peacock the same size as the compressiceps. HE WENT CRAZY ! Dancing around and showing off his colors. He literally chased the Dragon Blood around the tank constantly. The Dragon Blood could not hide. So this afternoon I returned him to Kee's. They are QT'ing him for 5 days and sell him. I am supposed to get a 50% in-store fish credit upon his sale. I hated to have to get rid of him but he was stressing out the entire tank to the extent that everyone was skid'ish when he swam by - that experiment failed. Very impressive looking fish but was just not compatible. You should have seen him in action, he exhibited the natural hunting trait while tipping his head down. It was very impressive but I value the peacocks more so he HAD to go...
