Thanks Tony, I plan to treat the whole tank tomorrow soon as the metro is in the mailbox, just wanted to make sure my Snyo cats would be fine. Thanks again.

If you move anything, I'd just move the Synos if there was any concern about them and the meds.

Okay now you made me stop again :o, Should I move the cats then?

Sorry Steve, I meant if you are concerned about the cats then you could move them while treating the main tank.
Personally I wouldn't worry about them myself.

Steve,
I saw this on the Cichlid-Forum.com site :

http://www.cichlid-forum.com/articles/feeding_african_cichlids.php

The safest foods for herbivores are those which are predominantly vegetable-based, such as peas, zucchini, carrots, spinach, and romaine lettuce. These are needed to help them retain the full intensity of their coloration because of the beta-carotene, canthaxanthin, and other vitamins they contain. They also help to reduce the incidence of intestinal blockages because of their high fiber content.

Good Luck !

Just thought I would update this and let you guys know how this fish is doing, and to say thanks for the help. I'm happy to say the lab is doing MUCH better now. I treated with Metro for about 10 days, also added some salt every PWC for about 2 weeks, eased up on the feeding and skip feeding one day each week. The lab is now pretty much back to normal size with almost no bulge at all now in his/her belly. The coloration is a bit faded from what it was before, but health wise it pretty much looks normal now, eats well, and seems to be doing very well 8)
