From the little I can see. (The pictures are bad) but the fish looks worse. I've never dealt with oscars but that's a pretty common thang at that age. Specially if the owner didn't take proper care of him. Hope someone can help you out might have better luck on MFK. Oh wait is that site back up yet?  Stupid energy drink

Sight is up has been for a while nothing to do with monster.

You still need better pics, even with those horrible pics id Qt him and start salt, light heat and some melafix some good air movement as well.  Go from there.

you should separate from the main tank so you can treat easier and do more water changes more frequently, and re treat with out it coasting you an arm and a leg.  I had a rainbow cichlid that look similar to this that I managed to save.  This is what I did.

Set up a 20g tank with another tanks filter removed an active carbon.  I then got a five g bucket  and mixed my salt for a 20g tank in about 3 g of water. I the diped the fish in this bucket let it sit a few minutes then added the fish and the salt water to the tank.  I kept the heat about 84 and added metafix the recommended amount for 7 days and his wounds healed.

I did this with a severum that had a similar looking thing and he died.

Good luck!
