Labidochromas Gigas
« on: September 07, 2011, 07:54:59 PM »
Anyone ever breed them or keep them?  I am growing out a nice sized group that is starting to breed.  I searched along time for these and was able to obtain them from 2 different sources.

I haven't bred the Gigas, but I don't see them being too much different than Yellow Labs or Pearlmuts. (which I have bred)

I do have some young fry from them.  Not a lot yet though.  If they are as easy as the rest of the labs then I will likely be over run with them soon.

Got about 18-20 fry growing out nicely now.  Some are at the 1/2" mark.  Had another couple of females holding but didn't strip as I am short on time lately and trying to cut back.
