Title: Fish Food avail for delivery to the MCAS Auction

The following fish food will be avail to the Nov meeting at $5/lb.

Pellet Sizes are below, food is slow sinking:

Starter meal (≤0.6 mm)
Crude Protein Minimum 55%
Crude Fat Minimum 15%
Crude Fiber Maximum 1%
Moisture Maximum 12%
Ash Maximum 11%

1.5mm
Crude Protein Minimum 50%
Crude Fat Minimum 15%
Crude Fiber Maximum 2%
Moisture Maximum 12%
Ash Maximum 8%

3mm
Crude Protein Minimum 40%
Crude Fat Minimum 10%
Crude Fiber Maximum    4%
Moisture Maximum 12%
Ash Maximum 8%

Hi Josh - What brand of food is this ? Or is it home made? Would you do smaller packets like 0.5 lb?

At $5/lb I am not breaking it down into 1/2lb lots.  It is a food used on many cichlid breeding farms as it is higher in protein for faster growth of younger fish.

Josh does the starter meal with 55% protein have astaxanthin, paprika or any color enhancers in the red spectrum? I have 2 really nice yellow discus and I cannot find any commercial food that won't turn them orange. Thanks mate!

No it does not contain any color enhancing products.
