I took this picture down to my local shop and can't find out what it is. He is in my 320 gallon and he is mean, puts my Red Zebra, Bumblebee and my other fish right in the corner. So if anyone knows what he is and maybe figure out what fish I can have with him or just get rid of him. Thanks for your time.

It's a Mbuna. But, it's not a species I recognize.
So, I'm going hybrid

Looks like a Dolphin Manda but not positive. I didn't count stripes or anything. Fins look like a male though.

The coloration looks too off to be a Dolphin Manda to me.

Upon further review... You are correct. Not a Manda.

Well thanks for the help guys. This Friday I'm taking him to my local fish store and trade him in. He is putting a lot of stress on my other fish and needs to go. I mean there is plenty of room in that 320 gallon lol. I would still like to figure out what it is.

Do you have anymore pictures that offer a clearer shot of the head?
The body shape reminds me of Metriclima sp or one of the thicker body mbuna, but those vertical stripes, well I just can't think of any legitimate options.
The body/head also reminds me of petros a bit, but I don't know petros at all and suspect it's not one simply because they're a bit rare in the hobby.

I can try my best to get a better one. When I get close to the tank, he goes to the back of it and it is hard to get a clear picture. My tank is pretty big, 5' 5"x 42" x 30 3/4" 320 gallon. So when it goes to the back of the tank, it is hard to get a good one. But if I get him out of the tank, then I can take a picture before I take him to the fish store. Still want to know what he is. I even got the picture up on http://www.cichlid-forum.com/phpBB/index.php and I haven't heard anything back. So thanks for the help guys.

Thanks for the help guys. I took him in this past Friday to trade him sense he was so mean. I was told he was a mix between a Bumblebee and a Cobalt.

Unless they bred him, it's anybody's guess.

You are right there on that one. That was just my educated guess after looking at it closely.
