Has anyone kept them before? How fast is there growth? and if you have kept them was it a single species or did you have tank mates? If so what did you kept with them?

I have some 18 or so of these. They are only about four inch babies at this point. They grow to over 16 inches and are very con specific aggressive. They are known to be tank busters. They are a tilapia, alot and very similar to the buttekofferi. One day all is well, boom the next day a pair left. They are quite the hand full to keep due to these attributes. I'm considering getting my group a intex swimming pool to grow in. Best of luck, I recommend you keep these species only unless you don't like the other fish. They grow rather quickly.
