Title: Addiction

So I finakly think I have a problem with collecting fish. A good friend of mine just got a job at the company I use to work for (whcih I hate) and he will be living in Uganda, stationed right on lake Victoria and close to the other 2. I want to go so bad just so I would have to chance of seeing some of my favorite fish in the wild. The job itself isn't bad but the company sucks and I would be away from home for 1-2 months at a time...the money is good too though....
Either way...that's just not right.

If you go for one year, you'll probably work it out of your system.  Probably.  (The Victorians are best collected in shallow, weedy areas.  Use a seine net, and be aware of Crocs, parasites, and diseases.  Just sayin'.)

Going to Africa sounds more like something that I want to say that I did rather than actually doing it.  Those countries are messed up over there.

Now a collecting trip in Brazil - that sounds like fun.  Maybe at Mardi Gras time...  Oh wait I probably wouldn't survive a Mardi Gras party.  LOL.

I'd survive but I'd probably be in jail or catch some exotic disease or something...   :D

Considering the company I would be working with would have a armed guard with me I would feel.... relativity safe lol. It is a little scary that we arent allowed to travel after dark...at all.

The Brazil trip does sound like fun though.

It wasnt Mardi Gras but I have been to Bourban Street and spent 5 nights there...I made it out alive....tired and soar but alive. lol

Are you still thinking about going?  I have a sibling there and sure wish I could get 'em to send me some fish!!  lol
