Today is a special day for me :) Today marks exactly 6 years since the day I finally decided to become a non smoker. At the time I was smoking over a pack a day and tried everything I could find to quite but nothing worked long term for me. Then finally 6 years ago I just got up one morning and simply decided I was tired of slowly killing myself, so I tossed out what I had on me and have not touched a single cigarette since that day. One of the very best decisions I ever made in my life by far.

Now if you could just get Blair to stop vaping......
Congrats Steve!

I'd probably have a better chance of stopping my labs & zebras from breeding than stopping Blair from vaping ;D

Good on ya Steve...a very tough habit to kick...i smoked for 15 yrs and shot up meth for 9yrs...smoking was by far the harder of those 2 deadly habits to kick...smoke and meth free for 16 yrs now.
At $5/day you've had $10,950 to spend on other things. Well done mate👍

Totally agree with you Danny. I no longer drink and I've been sober for a long time now but as a recovering alcoholic I honestly think in ways it was harder for me to stop smoking than it was to stop drinking. I think mainly it's because drugs and alcohol have more or less a real visual negative affect to them. In other words you can see what they are doing to your body, mind, and quality of life. Smoking on the other hand is somewhat silent in what it does and all the harm it's doing is not readily apparent until it's too late most times.
Btw- Congrats to you on getting clean and sober and staying that way 8)
