Title: Reptile Store in Livonia Broken Into
Post by: Sean on March 30, 2017, 10:15:20 AM
Not fish related, but Stingers' Exotics in Livonia was broken into on Monday and "thousands of dollars of exotic lizards" were stolen and they asked that everyone share the article on forums, Facebook, etc. so I figured I'd post it on here.

That really sucks.   Which store was it?  The one on Middlebelt?

Awful.  Nice little shop they have there.

How in the world do they expect to unload a bunch of lizards without getting caught? Seems like someone selling them would be pretty obvious and get caught. Seems like a weird thing to steal.

Yup, it was the one on Middlebelt. Super cool store run by a great family. I'm really not sure how they plan to unload that many animals, it's definitely a strange thing to steal and it definitely isn't easy to get rid of that many lizards lol. The store I work at's Livonia location is like a mile away and we always get animal trades in there. The owner of that store is keeping an eye out too. Hopefully they can catch the guy. Shouldn't be too hard.

Damn.  They just recently opened up there too.  I work a few blocks away.  & used to live in the area.  There's not a big police presence right there & I'm sure it was easy to get away using the side streets
