-
Yep..I love them too
But the most curious I'' about this cyprichromis microlepidotus...let's see what colors they will show in 1 month...
-
Some really nice fish - looking forward to an update once they've settled in. :)
-
Nice one mate...looking good...fid you get the Lupota from Tony? I remember sending you his contact a while back...
-
Nope, he didn't have any.
Found them in Minnesota, the guys on Cyphos.com using name Fisher.
Great experience with him, I recommend.
Rest of fishes coming from Laif from Old World.

Cool man...i know of Fisher...a may of mine up your way bought Lupota from him recently as well...Laif has quality fish...looking forward to progress shots, especially of the ilangi 👍

a few of Ilangis starts to show up amazing colors just after 2 days in the tank. I put them into a tank when i've already had Kiriza Gold, but each single stone now is taken by some Ilangi...battle for domination have been short...:-D
-
Male Ilangi are notoriously aggressive...only to be rivalled by some of the red species...how many in your group?
-
Only 12..🙁.price have been crazy... :( :( :(
Cyprichromis starts to show some colors...mixing black/blue and yellow....can not wait to see them when fully settled....
-
Lovin those gold kiriza you have there - keep update pictures coming of them.

I bought 14 F1 Kitumbas from fisher over 3 years ago. Here is what I'm working with. Enjoy growing them out.

very nice!! I went with the lupota too from fisher!! Already getting big!!

It is so fun growing them out. Keep up with weekly water changes and feed a good pellet and some occasional baby mysis shrimp and they will get big in no time.
I feed mine 4 times a week right now. They get a combination of biggie Xtreme pellets, Hikari frozen krill, and Hikari frozen jumbo mysis throughout the week. Once I started adding more frozen food into the mix their color got much better.
I have them in a 125 gallon with 6 petricola cats and a WC Altolamprologus compressiceps crocodile island trio.
