Yup CL is almost useless these days when it comes to tanks. You can ask Blair I usually email him a link to some WAY overpriced tank about once every week or two. I just showed him that $3200 one the other day because I about pissed myself laughing when I saw the price when that dude posted it.
There's another one that's been on there for about a month now that kills me, this one here http://detroit.craigslist.org/mcb/for/5754649050.html He started out at $700 a month ago, then dropped to $500 a couple weeks ago, was at $300 last week, now back to $400 this week. Not only is that overpriced even if it were in good shape, but it's actually junk, zoom in and look at the silicon job. Looks like Stevie Wonder got drunk one night and tried resealing it with 500 hot glue sticks :o
Then there's this guy http://detroit.craigslist.org/wyn/for/5745943050.html that one has been on there for well over a year and he refreshes every month. He'll never sell that thing for that price. Its a big tank yes, but it's very crude looking with the visible seams at the bull nose to panel joints. At best it's a lobster tank for a Red Lobster IMO.

I laughed my ass off when I first saw that 180g that "has never leaked".
I thought about sending an email asking if it never leaked then why did someone apply a 5g bucket of silicone with a brick layer's trowel?

Ha! I had said something similar to Steve.
