Has anyone every used HBH Super Soft & Moist Spirulina? Or any other Super Soft & Moist food? I saw it on kens and am curious about what exactly it is...does it need to be refrigerated or what. It really doesnt say on the website.

It's just a sinking pellet

I've used the spirulina formula and the krill formula...both are great foods IMO. My fish seem to like to soft pellet opposed to the hard type of other brands.

I would suspect the moist food would spoil sooner than a hard pellet/etc. If you kept the majority in the fridge and only 1-2 weeks worth in a container near the tank, it'd probably work out just fine.

Actually Ron IME the food just hardened& the fish still eat it.

I love NLS but switched to Ken's because its cheaper and came with reviews as good and sometimes even better than NLS. I've used there soft/moist krill and my fish love it. It has to be refridgerated after opening though. I have used it without doing so and it hardened but never spoiled.

^ Thanks for the insight guys. Maybe I'll give them a shot sometime. :)

Thanks for all the info. Ill give it a shot too. Too bad the smallest bag of it is 2lbs. but I should be doing a group order with a few people in the area so hopefully one of them will want to share the bag.
