Title: Pool Filter for fish tank?

Just wondering whether this pool filter can be used for large fish tanks / Rubbermaid tubs ? (>100 gallon)
Has anyone tried something like this?

nice I was wondering if you can take that cartridge out an put a charcoal one in there  to help with the ammonia build up.

If you want to give it a shot, I have a couple I could sell you for $10 each. One was never used (upgraded the filter on our pool)

Okay Marty.  Could you bring the filter pump assembly to the meeting? Is it the same capacity as shown in my link?

I'm out of town, I'll send you a pm when I get back.  I'm pretty sure it's the same size pump
