Title: Hot Tub Parts

So I have a very large hot tub that leaks and I have been waiting to cut it up and take it out of the screened in porch it is on. I recently had a friend give me a call and ask if he could have the water and air pumps out of it. I just got to thinking....couldnt I use those for a fish tanks? Anyone have some experience with this?

I know somebody that was planning on doing something with some hot tub parts.

I don't know about aquarium use but I heard someone built a time machine out of one before.
