Title: DIY Tank Covers
Post by: LanaK on February 11, 2016, 04:18:29 PM
Has anyone used twin wall polycarbonate to make fist tank covers, like this stuff - https://www.menards.com/main/building-materials/roofing/specialty-roofing/8mm-clear-6-x-8-twin-wall-polycarbonate/p-1444424091061-c-5819.htm?tid=8883891664607639498?

I need to do a better job of covering my tanks and have been looking for something more rigid than single ply poly, but not as breakable or heavy as glass.

I keep getting an error when I click the link but.  I think it's the same stuff I made mine out of.  It works pretty good and holds heat and water in well.

Twin wall & corrugated both work well.
