Wife loved the 6 footer so much I moved it out of basement and into main floor lounge. Here's a better vid now I have some of the rock scape issues I was unhappy with straightened out. Love this tank and its occupants! Decide to put some voice on this one for a change. Enjoy my Aussie accent!

I agree with your wife. A tank like that should be in the main part of the house so you have more chances to enjoy it and show it off. Great job on the aquascape. ❤️ it!!!

Nice! What do the females look like?

Tropheus are monomorphic so males and females are very similar. The dominant male/s in a colony usually have brighter colors but they are all similar. This is the wild parent group my F1's came from. You'll see how similar in color both sexes are!

This colony of wilds (and numerous others) resides in Livonia and fry are regularly available. Check out www.tropheusandmore.com and go to classifieds, or simply email [email protected] to check availability & pricing

Pineapples are, by far, my favorite Tropheus and yours are looking fantastic. Keep the pics coming as they mature.

Thanks Steve...the white lips can be hard to come by...I am very grateful to have these 4...possibly looks like 2 pairs...

Here are my wife's favourite fish, blue dolphins, I think these 3 are pretty spectacular as well...

Yup don't see them very often, I think you are only about the 3rd person I know of that has them. Really cool fish, one of these days I'll end up with one myself  :)

I think 1 of the draw backs with them is that they are slow to reach sexual maturity...like up to 3 yrs...most people get bored well before then, me included, but I am committed this time round lol...to buy a mature group would be very pricey...there was 8 on here recently for $275 @ 3-4" if I remember correctly...a reasonable price but prob still at least a yr or 2 away from breeding size...
