Title: Direction of my Korlia

Should I point it towards the bottom in order to try and keep waste moving towards the filter intakes, or should I point it towards the surface for agitaion?

60 gallon, koralia 850.

What kind of tank is it?  How big? Korailia aren't as good as they are rated for, budget minded cheap water movement, Chinese shit.  SW trade gave up on them 5-7 years ago due to reliability issues.  Better off drilled tank with sump and a quality circulation pump.  Danner/Mag or go home.  Powerheads are for supplement flow not main turnover. You need to turn a r tank 10x per hour PLUS filtration!

60 gallon. Koralia 850. 

Penguin 350 and a Fluval 360 filter wise.

Looks like you have enough filtering plus some for a 60 gal + six fish.
I wouldn't bother adding any more circulation.
The  Penguin will move the surface and depending where you put the spray bar above or below the water level....you should be moving most of the water column. Put the Penguin at one end and the Fluval spray bar at the other end and see how everything circulates. Not moving things enough move them closer together....till you get the movement you want.

Think I may need another tank now since I have this Koralia just sitting around... Justification?
