Hmm, the fancy L-129 pleco I bought at the auction already died.

I don't know what could have happened. I didn't see him much but when I did he looked great, was eating and active. Do you think the bn plecos killed him? It looked like something ate his belly out

I have the worst luck with these expensive plecos.
I was thinking of buying a bag of something cool and setting up a pleco breeding tank. With my luck they would all die.

Guess I'll stick to the bn plecos

L129's are very aggressive to any bottom feeders you have in the same tank... If you have other bottom dwellers, its possible they quarreled. It's recommended you don't keep them with any other bottom dwellers at all.
