Due to a scheduling error on my part, the MCA auction is now being held on October 10th!
-
Pre registration will be until Sunday October 4th. Please email Marty Derenge at [email protected]
If you're coming to the meeting tonight, you can pre register there as well. We may be able to give you labels as well instead of mailing them.

Uh-oh, and now the scramble begins....
Hopefully this will not lessen attendance or the volunteer pool.
On a positive note it might be a good thing since the GVAC auction is the 17th.
At least you caught it now instead of next Friday :o

The good part is we no longer have the conflict with GVAC or the Catfish Cataclysm, the bad news is we have to scramble.
I just sent out an emergency newletter to about 1000 people, and we'll be posting all over Facebook groups shortly, so the word should get out. I just feel bad for the people that have to schedule time off.

This is actually GREAT news for me. I planned on going to the auction to pick up some new fish and already set up some Q-tanks for them a couple weeks ago. Then the family told me the other day they want to go close our cabin up North up for the winter on the 17th so I was bummed I was gonna miss out on the first auction we've had for awhile.
Not now though! looking forward to next weekend now 8) ;D 8)

So, if we already emailed to register will we receive the labels tonight?
-
If Marty are has not mailed them already, I will ask him to bring them.

Bump, make sure you attend the auction this Sat. Have some cool fish and items in the Chinese raffle and of course never know what new species you might come across on the auction tables. Hope to see everyone there.

Josh, what was the final tally that we spent on raffle items? (Not including the Imperial donations )

Around $325 in some cool fish, some not seen around the hobby in years and almost $200 in the 75 gallon with lids, Led light, and of course the awesome background by Steve.

Thought we were at $700+ before we nixed the Zebra Pleco?
Or are you not including the member sign up prizes?
BTW - you suck at using the preview button. ;)

Is that better.... We will be close to that when shipping is figured out.

So, $700+ in raffle giveaways to auction goers?
You guys hear that? $700 worth of stuff & that's wholesale costs. If we listed the retail value of the items/fish, it'd be at least $1,400 worth of stuff you can win! AND with our 40 for $20 raffle ticket prices - that's 40 different possible prizes that could be won for $20!
I hope to see you all with smiling faces & items in hand while walking away from the winners table on Saturday! THAT'S why I donate my time EVERY single day. To see you guys & gals full of shits & giggles! ;)

One more day...... You don't want to miss this one. Great chance to win a new tank and some awesome fish, let alone bid on some as well.
-
It's killing me I have thanksgiving tomorrow in Canada! Wish I could attend but family before fish haha. Hope everyone has a good time and is able to get what they want. Good luck to all and may the highest bidder win! Cheers

I'm excited, but already know I'm going to be short on getting a good nights sleep before getting up again to bag fish. Should be a great time no matter what though!
-
I second that...

Bagging now. Going to be a long night.
