Just finished up building this 3D background for the MCA 75g tank that will be auctioned off at the Oct 17th auction. For the price of a raffle ticket it could very well be yours in a few weeks!
Since you never what sort of fish an auction winner keeps, I decided to do this one a bit different than the past ones I have done and I used more sandstone, tan, buff and brown tones in this so that it would work for not only Mbuna/peacoks/haps....but will also look right at home with SA or CA species in it. Upper corner is carved thin enough so that a large HOB filter easily fits over it as well just in case the winner uses HOB's and not a canister.

Awesome job as always Steve, thanks so much for doing this. This will look great in the winner's tank, especially with the 48" Teamworks LED light they get as well.

Better pic that shows the colors and depth a lot more now that I finished sealing it last night.

Hi Steve, and every one from MCA.
In Feb. I attended my first auction and it turned out to be MCA's. I also won the 40G breeder with the great 3d background. So as the next auction aproaches I thought i would share a picture of the 40g currently.
