Title: 40 breeder lids, good for any other size?
Post by: greg y on September 23, 2015, 11:54:38 AM
I'm still running two 40g breeders from when I was forced to downgrade after my 120g emptied on to the living room floor at 4 am.

I'm thinking of upgrading sometime next year to a larger tank.
Is there any 80g or larger tank that would use these 36x18" lids or not really?

Nothing that they'll fit perfectly, except other 36x18 tanks.

When the time comes msg me & maybe I'll buy then from you.  I have 8 breeder tanks that need lids.

Nope,  6' tanks have two braces. So, they still utilize 24" wide tops.

I'll take them if Blair doesn't. My 6 footer doesn't have braces!! Haha

Unless you get a Marineland 6 footer, they only have one brace.
