Title: Green Terror Still Not Eating after a Week of Metro
Post by: euphr on August 21, 2015, 10:23:12 AM
My GT hasn't eaten in about 5 to 6 weeks now. I have done two rounds of API General Cure, 3 Doses of Levamisole and now i am doing Seachem Metroplex. After 6 days of the metroplex i am not seeing any change. I have him in a hospital tank and he is by himself and he doesn't go near any food and likes to hide alot. His white poops are now hair like instead of stringy a week or so ago. I have a decoration in the HT that he can hide in.

My question is do i keep doing the metroplex or do i try something different? I only ask because i haven't seen a change yet so i am starting to get worried he may be too far gone.

Okay I just finished 5 days of another round of metro and I increased the dosage to 250mg daily with 30 to 40 percent water changes before adding the metro.

Today I noticed that he has had three very long stringy, almost hair like poops, which he didn't have for about a week. Is this normal or is he getting worse? Is it a sign he is eating as I am not really sure because he just seems to hide when I go near the tank? Is it because he is stressed out in the hospital tank.  I leave food in the tank and it does seem like he is eating but I am not really sure.
