My Oscar seemed to have some difficulties and was a little sluggish yesterday so as usual I got a little concerned that something was wrong. I did some reading and found the suggestion for some thawed frozen peas.
The Oscar loves them, but the Gold Severum can't quite figure them out just yet.
I guess I will try to work those in occasionally to help offset the pellets I've been feeding.
I tried a zucchini slice a few days earlier, but other than a bite or two the Oscar is not able to eat that just yet. I can tell that he's going to pretty much eat anything and everything once he's a little bigger.
Any suggestions for veggies my Severum might be willing/able to eat? He's not a peas fan or a zucchini fan just yet.

Make sure you take the shells off the peas.
Other vegetables to try would be - spinach, Roman lettuce... even watermelon.

By shell do you mean "skin"?
