I live in Toledo, Ohio I was wondering I never had problems with water changes but the last one I did I noticed all my j. regani died out of 6 only 2 dead bodies but no sign of others out of my 125. And my n. Lelupi out of 6 I see 2 or 3 but the rest of the fish look good and no problems. Wondering since thy are worried about alge bloom in Lake Erie do u think so of the chemicals could be hurting my fish?

Have you tried checking with your local municipal water department?

I live in Flint, MI. We have the worst water right now(taken from the Flint river) Not really safe to drink if you're old or young as told by the water department. I had die offs after water changes. Certain fish died after water changes. I was told some fish can handle the chemicals put in to the water to make it safe to drink and some can't. I've learned to just keep fish that aren't bothered by the chemicals. Also was told to find out what time of day they add chemicals to the water system and collect my water before that time. Or just use a water treatment system in your home for the water just for your water changes.
