Hi All,
I am looking for tanks to do some research experiments in (don't worry - no fish involved, studying diffusion of isotopes in lake sediments) so they can be fish room quality and ugly and scratched up as ever, as long as they hold water. Dimensions are flexible, though height has to be around 36cm (14 inches), give or take a few inches. Does anyone have anything out there like this? Again, I'd like to stress the low price, as the university I work at is horrible with reimbursements.
Thanks!

If you don't care if they are clear or not, you might try plastic tubs instead. Easier to find and usually cheaper.

Thanks for the suggestion! From what I've looked at, those tubs are usually made of a softer plastic that would absorb enough of our spikes for it to make a difference in the results. Maybe I will poke around some more and see what I can find if there are no tanks available here.

Do you know John and Betty Oyer in Brighton? They usually have a bunch of tanks for sale. My friend just got 6 29gal for 40.00 from them.

I've heard of them - from what i understand they run their business out of their home? I will dig around the forum for contact info, thanks!
