Title: 55G Chewere, White Labs and S. Multipunctatus
Post by: Super Turtleman on March 17, 2012, 11:45:21 PM: Just a couple vids of that 55 I got for $100. Fish are doing good and I've got fry from the Chewere and a White Lab holding (Looks like I have a 5M 1F ratio >:( ). Hoping to find some Syno Multi fry sooner or later. Anyone know what size they start breeding?

Nick.... you need to be careful. You sounds like I did a couple years ago. Everytime I seen a tank I wanted one just like it. 16 tanks later I still have trouble not putting another tank up. It's a Cichness and I do not know if there is a cure for it.........

LOL I am well aware of that. When i first got into fish I had 8 55 and larger tanks in a small apartment within a year of my first. I Have a better idea of what I like now but I still have to fight the urge.

For now I might just focus on my group of protomelas and tropheus....maybe the julis i have too....and maybe the multis....and maybe the petricola....and maybe....DAMN! IT NEVER STOPS!

Post by: Super Turtleman on April 25, 2012, 12:09:28 AM: Here's an update. Decided the tank needed some greenery so added some fake plants back in. Looks a lot better IMO. I removed 3 of my White Labs so I have 2M 1F left. Still have the 5 Synos and the 7 Chewere. So far I've identified 2 Chewere females but we'll see. I'll give them more time before thinning them out. I also have another dozen Chewere growing out as well as 2 White Labs. Hoping for some more of them soon. Here are some pics and a vid.
