I helped a teacher in Ohio with several of her students. I helped the students with there aquariums and setups.
Please remember this is the students first time ever working with live plants in a aquarium. They did learn this year on how to take care of freshwater, Saltwater, and planted aquariums. I am very proud of my students. They all worked very hard and had a great time working on these aquariums.
Please let me know what all of you think of there setups.

Thanks. I hope to do more of these next school year. I had several people help me out with donating plants and supplies such as tanks, rocks, gift certificate. These are the people who helped make this all possible.
The following people helped make this all possible for me to do.
Sarah Hale, Christopher K. Brown, Paul Van Hout, Brian Dahlberg,
Douglas L. Clark, and Kevin Kroll. From Face Book. Donated a large amount of plants for all the students. Class room teacher Penny Miller helped make this all happen.
Paul Van Hout, Christopher K. Brown from Greenleafaquariums.com/Forums. Donated gift cards to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.
Greenleafaquariums.com company donated a lot of items to the students for there aquarium setups

Thanks for all the nice comments. I will let the students know. The students are all very excited on how there planted aquariums turned out. The cool thing about this contest is. The students got to learn how to setup a aquarium, Take care of a aquarium, and how to landscape a aquarium / Planted aquarium. The students get to take home there planted aquariums if they want to.

I think this was a fantastic project..i would love to see this type of thing offered in more schools....not only is it a great way to spread the hobby ; but also a great way to teach young people how to appreciate this aspect of doing something that they possibly didn't think they could do.......
