I've done regular kribensis before (pelvicachromis pulcher) but I'm wondering if anything is different with ocellated kribensis (pelvicachromis subocellatus) as to diet, spawning, general care. I had my kribensis spawn in normal Michigan water so I'd guess these would be the same since they're tank raised vs. wild caught.
Bruce's down in Brownstown has a batch of 10-15 that are too small to sex, but once they get bigger they look to be quite colorful.
Apparently the parents look like some of the better pics here: http://www.seriouslyfish.com/species/pelvicachromis-subocellatus/
Thanks for any insights.
