My zebra danios have gill flukes that are becoming apparent. I don't see it on any of the rotkeils yet, but I know I need to treat for it pretty soon or it's possible.
Any suggestions? Is Epsom salt a reliable treatment or is there something else readily available at a local fish store?

A copper medication will kill invertebrates, but not fish (when used at a reasonable dose), though it can be hard on scaleless fish and may impact plants IIRC, if your tank is planted. .

I just did a partial water change and added the prescribed amount of Coppersafe. I don't know if the danios will survive it though. They are not behaving well since it's been added. The danios might not survive it but I hope my rotkeils do.
LFS said they use Coppersafe all the time and it should be o.k. for the cichlids, but did advise some of the danios might not make it.

I think the Coppersafe tallied 1 casualty in total. I hope I don't have to use that stuff again.

Look up Cupramine and use that next time in place of Coppersafe. Cupramine is about the most fish safe copper med that you can use. I've used it before with good results and no casulties http://www.seachem.com/Products/product_pages/Cupramine.html

This kind of stuff is best hit with Tetras "Parasite Guard" to the boxes instructions.

The danios have all lived so far.

Good deal. What treatment?

Coppersafe seems to have tallied another victim in my tank. A second Rotkeil died last night.
